Tablet Huion DWH69 without function in Black Ink

Hi, today I purchased Black Ink on Steam. Sadly my tablet (Huion DWH69) is without any function as soon as Black Ink is started. I can't even move the cursor.

In other applicatons (e.g. Affinity Photo) the tablet works just fine.

Dis-/enabling Tablet PC support in the driver changes nothing.

Any idea what I might be missing? Without tablet support Black Ink doesn't make much sense to me...

Hi,

Black Ink use WinTab API..
Can you try to download and install latest driver from Huion and look at this thread perhaps there will be usefull information

WinTab API is supported by the tablet and for example Krita runs fine with it in WinTab mode.

Drivers are already at the latest available version.

Sadly that threads is mostly unrelated. I don't have an issue with how the tablet functions, it doesn't do anything at all in Black Ink (neither in the UI/menus nor on the drawing area). It's completely dead while Black Ink is running.

Is there a way to debug this?

ok try to go to the Main Menu > Preferences > Stylus and see whi is display when using your tablet ( is graph moving etc.. )
Moreover you see send you BlackInk.log file at support@bleank.com

The preferences dialog shows as little reaction to the tablet as the remaining application. It stays like this:



The Huion DWH69 driver doesn't have an option for "Windows Ink" support, only for "Tablet PC" support. Toggling the setting changes nothing in Black Ink. Also no difference in the .log file aside from minimal timing differences.

I've just mailed the .log file to your support mail address.
