As I began coloring the T-rex that I made, I did realize that I kind of miss being able to smudge/fade colors, and have tools available that brush a color into lighter or darker hues. Would Black Ink get tools like that?

After trial: I found the program to be quite intuitive and easy to jump into. Didn't need to use the documentation at all, so that's good. Brush tools 'node' system would take a bit of learning considering it's a different approach to setting up brushes, but that is also easy to understand as the result is immediately visible.
