Ability to warp selections?

I'm wondering if there's a way to warp a selection. As far as I can manage to see, I can rotate, slide, and change the aspect ratio of my selection.

What I'm looking to do is, for example: create a pattern for a piece of clothing, use the tiling feature, confirm the changes, then be able to warp the pattern directly to show the folds of cloth.

I would love it if there was a way to do this already, but if there is, I'm having trouble finding it.
