Sorry I realize this probably isn't the best place to post this but I couldn't find anywhere else to put this thread. I am completely new to drawing but I saw this program on steam and it greatly interested me. I recent saw some pictures similar to these on deviantart.com and that has kinda inspired me to do this. I have no idea where to start, could anyone maybe help me? I was looking into getting a small intuos pen and touch to start off with. Thanks in advance for the help.

Definitely get the intuos, I just got myself one and works like a charm with Black Ink...

I did just the same. A few month ago I bought "Art Rage Studio Pro" on Steam, a realistic painting tool, and got interested in digital art. And yesterday I first heard about Black Ink, and it was an instant buy for me.

However, since the small intuos is almost double the price of the "Wacom Bamboo Fun Pen & Touch Medium" (155€) i chose the Bamboo instead. It is twice the size but not as precise. However if money isn't that important to you, get the intous, it's certainly better.

The only thing I wanted, was at least DIN-A5 size.

When the Wacom Bamboo arrives (friday), I can give you some feedback on a beginner basis.
