When will we get the OpenGL Renderer?

When is BlackINK going to be available on Linux and Mac? :?:

Have you started working on the OpenGL renderer yet? Is the plan to use a wrapper for DX -> OpenGL or will it be fully native OpenGL port? Can you give us any sort of estimation for when we'll get this? And also would you please once and for all confirm whether this will come to Linux? :halo:

I've heard devs say before that after it's been ported to Mac it shouldn't be that hard to port it to Linux, and that it's a possibility, but I've never heard you say that you actually intend to do it :??:

I really want to be able to use it on Linux.

Good question. A Mac version probalby at the beginning of 2015 and the Linux version hummm is not scheduled yet but if we have a lot of request we will try to make it quickly after the Mac one.

It will be a native port.

I really want to be able to use it on Linux.

Can I get an update on this? :?
I really love this program, it is worth putting up with windows for for now, but a Linux version would make my life. :happy:

Hi Diego,

We had about a quarter of development left for the Mac version, but following a very important announcement by Apple to stop updating OpenGL in favor of their own technology we decided to put this development on hold. We will have to make a decision to finance this extra :sad:
