Hi,

I have some problems to add new brushes. For the ones I create myself, no problem. But those I downloaded from here don't appear when I restart Black Ink. I have copy the .bkbrush files into the UserBrushes directory, but it doesn't seem to work. And I didn't do anything different from what ben-o explained on his tuto. (I have the Steam version, so I did things accordingly).
I hope someone can help me fix this !

yool : strange I just made a test and it's works..
Are you sure you are in te correct folder and your files arn't corrupts

the exact path is : Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Black Ink\Datas\UserBrushes.
The files I tried to use are Ruffle and Paintbrush Tilt from ben-o. I tried to download them again, but it still doesn't work. I find it strange too...

yool : you're right it seems there a problem with those brushes
Anyway the Ruffle is now integrated in Black Ink by default ( Ruffle default ) and we will see what's going on with the other.

oh right i didn't see it was the same brush !

Hey there, Steam user here.
I downloaded and added almost every single brush into the proper User Brush folder that were available on the forum for download. None of them appear in my brush list when I boot up Black Ink.
Do you guys know about the problem? Any idea how to fix it? I'm eager to try community brushes.

having the same issue here. Bought it from steam.
I can create my own and i saved the costume brushes in the folder but they won't show up. I deleted the programm, reinstalled it and still nothing changed.

Same issue here, I'm also a Steam user.
I dunno if this is helpful but, if you create a new brush and open it with notepad, comparing with any downloaded brush from the forum, there is much less characters inside of it.
Seems like they were created with different Black Ink versions and the newer B.I. won't open an older brush.

We are currently hunting the problem.
And the source of the error seems to be an Update of the Forum which has corrupted all brushes stored here
We will recover it as soon as possible.

We have normaly restored all brushes.
Tell me if you still encounter any problem
