So after working on something for quite some time, I made the mistake of trying to save it.

This caused a crash and now the file crashes the program every time I try and load it.

It loads other things fine but that one is forever lost. Why did it crash when I tried to save my work, this is major concern and very discouraging.

Ah I would but I think the program has crashed from other things since then, so the log file has been long since overwritten.

I have this issue too. I send the reports with each crash, so I do not feel it necessary to send them again; however, would the file that BlackInk is crashing over help? I can open other BlackInk save files, but not this one.

Darn shame too, because I was really liking how it was turning out... :<

Edit: I forgot to mention, I tried making a copy of the file and opening a copy, I tried renaming the file, I tried changing the file extension and changing it back, and sadly none of that allowed me to open it again. :(

if you have a corrupted file try to put it somewehere on the net ( FTP ) and send us the link ( to ErrorReport@Bleank.com ) with your comment.
So we will look at what's going on nd try to recover it ( or a part ) if possible...
