new user "update failed timeout was reached" + other quirks

Hi to all i'm a new user of Black ink and i've got a couple of initial issues.

I just installed black ink and seems to be an update but when i try to update Black fail with this error
Failed transfer error: timeout was reached.

giving a look i found this 2 lines into blackink file in the C:\Users\....\AppData\Roaming\Bleank\BlackInk 2023
<HARMONY> Transfer error : 'Timeout was reached' ( in nSession, nsession.cpp Ln 243 )
<HARMONY> GetBuildFile failed : Transfer error 'Timeout was reached' ( servercom.cpp Ln 209 )

another error i've got while customising preferences is this one

i first would like to update maybe the second error will vanish
