I just downloaded the demo but when I try to open it from within steam or from the desktop icon nothing really happens. No error messages or anything

and do you have any crash report generated ( follow these instructions to retreive and send them )

so when I try to open the application from the source folder I actually get an error message( 0xc0000142). Now I searched on steam and apparently this is related to a feature in CPUs called avx that mine doesn't support (pentium G3250). It seems that there was a non-avx version of blackink at some point that used to solve the problem but now it's not available anymore. This is probably a dead-end for me right now until I can get a newer CPU.
