Looking Back...

Postby mysticflavour » 21 Sep 2016, 22:48

First time I post in this forum, thought it was time to share. I bought Black Ink back in 2013, played around with it a little then just didn't paint anything for a while. I've recently taken up my hobby again and thought I'd give Black Ink another go. Well I'm happy that I did, otherwise this painting would never have come to pass.

For those interested, I mainly used the Wet Brush. For the hair I used a modified version of pipo's hair brush.
The original piece is 6748x12000.

By the way, as someone who has dabbled in HSLS shaders before, I'm very much looking forward to the next update :D

Edit: I earlier wrote that the hair brush was based on MANINMACHINE's, it was based on pipo's hair brush.

I love realism, and this shows Black Ink can do anything we want it to. Beautiful work, did you use a photo underlay?

Hi Steve!
Sorry for a very late reply. I used a photo for reference to get the pose right. The model's name is Janine Habeck.
Thank you for the comment :)

Nice job! She reminds me of Triss Merigold.
