I would like to see different kinds of layers, like overlay, grayscale, multiply etc. and
maybe a controller editor for these layers, so people could make their own layer effects.
I really like the flow of BlackInk, and It has by far the most awesome drawing engine, but the color merging
is not so good, so i always have the feeling there are just these different shapes layed over one another, and that destroys the feeling a little. It would also help to add "soft" shapes to the shape parameter, so that everything doesn't feel that clear and geometric.
Cant wait till all the cool stuff gets imlemented

Yes the primtive part will be greatly enhanced ( not just a choice between pre-defined simple shapes )
