flat the layer

Hey :?:
How about an option when u can flat a layer so blending and opacity are back to normal but effects stay?
Merging, sometimes don't work as they should, if u want to merge only selected layers.

Example:

When u want to merge layers without background, the blending effects ends as black, and it takes opacity from other layer. The same thing happens when u use merge down.

really difficult to preserve ( nearly impossible ).
The only way is to preserve the layer stack ( and waiting that Bleank implement more layers to avoid to have to flatten all the time... :desperate: ).

more layers would be cool too ^^ but i didn't mention them, because i think u hear about that alot ^^

hmm and how about group layers? that would do fine when u use blending as shading and when u want to move layers u don't have move them separately
