Black Ink refuses to do more than 7 layers

My version of Black Ink refuses to do more than 7 layers. I've tried to verify the integrity of the application's cache on Steam, it says there two files had to be replaced, but yeah, I still can't add any more layers to the drawing I wanted to make (It's supposed to be a cave, I know you can't tell. I can't either =_=)

I don't think 7 layers is supposed to be the maximum amount of layers

Okay, sorry to bother everyone. While trying to use google in order to find a way on how reduce my amount layers, I stumbled upon this:

We have arbitrarily limited at 8 layers because on Windows XP and Direct X9 there are technical constraints with the GPU.
This is currently just a matter of stability, but be patient more options will come (merge, link, ...).

Sorry, I should google before posting. And yeah, I miscounted, I got eight layers there, not seven. I'm just stupid.
