Runtime Error Starting Program

Postby phuffdd » 14 Sep 2013, 01:49

I downloaded the program from Steam, and every time I try to run it, I get a runtime error.

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I am running an Asus G73SW laptop with 16 gigs of ram, Nvidia Geforce 460m card dedicated card with 1 gig vram, running Windows 7 Ultimate x64. GPU-Z shows DirectX 11.0 with Shader Model version 5.0. (my first question in trying to solve it)
Have tried restarting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling program, all to no avail.

Any suggestions? (Besides building and running on a desktop?)

Thank you very much!

All I had to do was verify the files in Steam, and it loaded right up!

Wish I knew about that earlier!
