bought black ink recently and was hoping to be able to use it with my draw pad, however while drawing i noticed that in certain areas of the screen the lines im drawing will shoot off the page for a moment and then return to the cursor. this only happens in the top left portion of the image for some reason, and will continue to happen in the same areas even when i zoom in or out. is there a way to fix this? :? Strange !
Do you have a Wacom or another Tablet ?
For the moment the workaround is to disable de precise stylus position in the Preference of Black Ink.

don't know the xp pen...
Anyway do you have the same behavior in other drawing software ?
Is the behavior the same with the mouse ?
Do you have the latest tablet / pen driver for Windows ?
Can you try to Calibrate ( the button under the "Precise stylus position" )
