Image Based Brush Loses Image

Postby rondfranks » 08 May 2018, 14:56

After I save a custom brush that is image-based, the next day when I open the file again the image is not showing in the brush I used. I have to reapply it to the brush.

Do I need to save that image to a specific location to reuse that brush with the same image, or is this so that the same brush can be used with different images?

Not a big issue, once I figured out what was going on.

You're right the referenced image of the image-based parameter isn't saved with the brush...
I note that as a Bug :bug:
Thanks for the report :)

Good to know. Perhaps a way to save a copy of the image to an image-brush folder under the Black Ink folder might be useful, so the image doesn't get misplaced in the future.

Anyway the "image-based" need a rework because it's one of the first feature of Black Ink..
