UI Scaling tablet problem

Postby rubicon » 29 Nov 2017, 06:28

Hi,

I just came back to using Black Ink after a long break. Really like the new features.
However, I use a Bamboo tablet, and I am having problems with the "zoom wheel" that used to let me zoom in and out (equivalent of the centre mouse wheel).

Now input on this wheel changes the scaling of the user interface. While this is cool, it's not something I want to do all the time and I can't figure out a way to map it to the function that I want. In the preferences menu, input on the wheel in either direction just maps as 'ctrl', so I can't just remap it.

Has anyone else had this problem, and is there a fix? I have the latest drivers for my tablet on a clean install, this is not a driver issue.

Thanks

Hi,

To Scale the UI there are 2 ways of doing it :
- using the Ctrl+Q + Mouse move ( this can be modified in the preferences )
- using the Ctrl+Mouse Wheel ( this can't be modified in the preference )

Your problem should come from the Ctrl+Mouse wheel..
My question is : do you have this problem in Chrome/FireFox or other Webbrowser because they typically use such shorctut to change the Zoom of their pages.

Can you change this shortcut with your Bamboo settings ?

If not we must add an option in the preference to deactive the Ctrl+Mouse wheel shorctut
