Black Ink software unable to open.

Hello,

I am having an issue opening the software. I just purchased it yesterday off of Steam. When I tried to open, it crashes and gives me an error message that Black Ink cannot open. It gives me the option to send a file report with the dump file.
I tried searching elsewhere, and I cannot find a solution to this problem. I am very excited to use this program, so I hope it can be fixed.

did it work beacuse im having the same problem

I opened it from steam. There was two options, one for launch "BlackInk" and another for "Black Ink, force DX9"
I chose the second one and it seems to be working now.
