Strange White/Blue Pattern...

I need some help... Whenever I open Black Ink, a strange Blue/White pattern appears. I can still draw, I'm not getting any lag and the windows still appear, but unless my color is perfectly 100% black it will be translucent. The transparency changes based on how close to black you are. Black being 0% and White being 100% transparent. I'm not sure how to fix this, I can't find any information on it either. Another thing to note: Whenever I do draw, there seems to be a certain square of rendering. I will draw a simple line and a white square... Probably rendering appears around it, then the instant I stop moving it it will turn back to the Blue/White pattern. It's extremely annoying and I was wondering if you have an idea of how to fix this. :?
