Compatability issues with new Surface Pro 4

Postby kernlsandrs » 28 Oct 2015, 19:49

I recently purchased a Surface Pro 4, and among the things I need it for, I thought I might also use it for drawing. I don't have any experience with digital art, but I had bought Black Ink on a Steam sale ages ago, and thought I might give it a try.

The issue I'm having is that the UI is impossibly tiny. I can't do anything with it, and haven't found any ways of scaling it up.

Is there any way to make this viewable on a high resolution display?

Deeply sorry for that. we are aware of the problem.
And we have still work to do before fixing this :(

I'm in the same situation - I bougth surface pro 4 and after installing BlackInc it's almost impossibel to work with.
One thing ist the far to smal menu text. Even with the pen it's hard to point a single menu-point.
An other thing is the big delay when I use the pen for drawing - the line appears long behind the pens pik (surface pro 4 i5 256 GB / 8 GB).

BlckInc is a wonderfull toool - never seen sonthing similar - and if you could improve the pointe mentioned above the ist really great to work whit.

I found a temporary fix here:

This worked perfectly with BlackInk \o/ and I can now read the UI without having to squint or strain my eyes :pleased:

Can't wait for you guys to fix this. I have high hopes for this software but I bought it to draw directly on my surface. When I dock to a 30" monitor it's fine but I never liked the disconnect of not drawing directly on the screen.

I realize your still in Beta so please keep us posted. :)
