My problems

Postby sito » 18 Sep 2015, 03:16

Hello.

First problem - the normal version of black does not start at all , i have radeon hd 4870 and and windows 7.
process consumes half the memory and processing power, but not start, and i can only kill the process.

Second problem - directx 9 version look good, but in 10-15-20-25 minutes begin a problem -when I paint - there is a big delay...not only delay, look like- draw something and than delay-stop-delay-stop and has not yet finished processing my drawing. Tomorrow i add log, and if needed - video of freeze look like.

Sorry for my english. Thanks. :)

sito : your GPU doesn't support DX11 and if you start by default Black Ink it try to run in DX 11 and then use the Software rasterizer which is a massive perfomance killer :??:
My advice is to try to run the DX 10 version.

To do launch the DX9 version and then go to the Main Tool Bar > Window > Preference> > GPU Tab > Select the DirectX 10 API. Also enable the VSync to be less power sensitive. and then apply.

Tell me if you still encounter problems.

don't see anything wrong in DX9 :(

for DX10 try the following :
Edit the File Config.xml located in C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Bleank\BlackInk by changing the API entry from D3D11_API to D3D10_API

And please try to restart Black Ink.
