Manual Crash reporting

Sometimes the crash report fails to send us a report automatically (it's generally because you don't have a stand alone mail client installed on your computer or have a firewall blocking the operation ).
But if you still want to help us improve the reliability of BlackInk you can manually send us these valuable informations.
To do so please follow this procedure :

send us by email ( ErrorReport@Bleank.com ) the following files that BlackInk created juste after the crash ( those files are overwritten after each BlackInk launch )

On Windows 7/Vista :
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\Bleank\BlackInk\BlackInk.Log
C:\Users\MyUserName\AppData\Roaming\Bleank\BlackInk\Minidump.dmp

note: If your "AppData" folder is hidden and doesn't appear in your user folder, simply enter "%appdata%" in any explorer window.

On Windows 7/Vista Steam :
C:\MySteamFolder\SteamApps\common\Black Ink Steam\Datas\BlackInk.Log
C:\MySteamFolder\SteamApps\common\Black Ink Steam\Datas\Minidump.dmp

On Windows 7/Vista Steam Demo :
C:\MySteamFolder\SteamApps\common\Black Ink Demo\Datas\BlackInk.Log
C:\MySteamFolder\SteamApps\common\Black Ink Demo\Datas\Minidump.dmp

:thanx: Thank you

Is there a problem with this email address? I keep getting bounceback messages with stuff like:

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'ErrorReport@Bleank.com' on
The recipient has been deleted or has no e-mail address.

and

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'ErrorReport@Bleank.com' on 9/15/2013 12:23 AM
None of your e-mail accounts could send to this recipient.

eternalwhitemoon : the crash report try to use your default email client. But if you don't have one ( or if you don't grant the autorisation ) the program failed to mail the files..
It's not 100% reliable in the future perhaps we will use a FTP uploading process instead of emailing.

I do have an email client set up (Outlook), and it does ask me if I want the program to email on my behalf, and I say "Accept". I do not have a separate firewall to configure and it is not being blocked by antivirus/antispyware programs.

I've also tested to make sure that I can send emails to other addresses via Outlook. So, I'm not sure why this is behaving this way. :x

Edit: Is it possible that it's bouncing back from your mail servers? Possibly due to the attachments or some other weirdness? The best I could find was the header info from the undeliverable messages:

From: "System Administrator"
Sender: "System Administrator"
To: "'ErrorReport@Bleank.com'"
Subject: Undeliverable: ErrorReport BlackInk Beta 0.135.1579

Is it possible to make BlackInk ZIP the necessary files, and then send the ZIP archive instead? Perhaps that would allow for more firewall compatibility.

No problem.
You can send to ErrorReport@Bleank.com a Zip file with:
    BlackInk.Log
    Minidump.dmp
Thanks
