Bush Brush V0.1

Postby tcherno » 27 Nov 2013, 20:25

Here is my very first brush : Bush Brush.
It's a test and need improvement (size, presure), it's supposed to help you create bushy shapes easily.
Tell me what you think about it.

This one is freaking awesome. All the little bushes in my sketchbooks are smiling at this. :) (me too)

Thank you :)
I was looking for a brush that reproduce the way I draw a tree, when I want a stylized and kind of comic design.
Glad you like it.
In the next version I'll try to drive the noises just with the length, and I'll use a "global start time" to avoid the synchronisation effect that the use of a single input implies.
You noticed that for now, if you want it to give you exactly the kind of shapes I show on the exemples, it's necessary to find the good speed, and the good variations of direction, when you use the Bush brush.
But when you get it, it's funny to use.

looks great!!

However does not look the same as the creators, so im wondering...

if this brush works with just a mouse?.. or is it best with pressure capabilties?

maybe there's a certain technique i'm not getting

@crackerspaint
If you want the same result with your mouse you have just to go in the Controller Editor [C] in Scatter parameters

Change the pressure by the Speed, and reduce the ease power.
